Mrs. Beth Gutt
I'm excited to begin my sixth year at Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy. Before I joined the faculty, I taught for four and a half years at Marvin Elementary in Union County. Prior to that, I taught in the public schools of Loudon County and Norfolk Virginia.
I earned a BA in elementary education (K-6) from Virginia Tech. I live in the South End neighborhood of Charlotte with my husband of thirty years, Eric, and my Bernedoodle puppy, Trudy. I have three daughters: Katie attends Brooklyn Law School, Emma is an actress/writer and is starting her first year of graduate studies for screen writing at State University of New York, Stony Brook. Libby, the baby, just graduated from Western Carolina University with a nursing degree and lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and works for Wake Baptist Hospital. I enjoy walking my dog, cheering on the Carolina Panthers and Virginia Tech football and the North Carolina Tarheels. I'm looking forward to another great year at Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy and getting to know your children!
